It is interesting to look at sustainability in the view of Solow. I agree that it is unrealistic to leave the world exactly as it was for the future. The idea of leaving future generations the capacity to be as well off as us is quite realistic. This will take research and desire for knowledge, but it is an attainable goal.

I agree with Patterson, the Solow article was based on a simple thought, yet everyone seems to disregard it when considering the future.
